What is CBD Oil?
Cannabidiol, often referred to as CBD, is an active substance found within the cannabis plant. It belongs to a family of compounds knows as the ‘cannabinoids’. CBD Oil is made by extracting CBD from the cannabis plant and mixing it with an oil, such as hempseed oil or coconut oil. Mixing CBD with oil makes it easier to consume, as CBD readily dissolves in fatty substances.
What are The Ingredients in Cannubu’s 10% CBD Oil?
Cannubu’s 10% CBD oil is made up of 2 ingredients – a full spectrum cannabis sativa extract and hempseed oil. Will CBD Oil Get You High?
The active extract inside Cannubu's CBD Oil comes from the Cannabis sativa L plant. It's only natural, therefore, that newcomers to CBD may be concerned about getting high whilst using CBD Products. Despite CBD coming from the same plant as its psychoactive cousin THC, CBD will not get you high. If you would like to know why CBD will not get you high, check out our blog post on the topic.
Why Should You Take CBD?
First identified in the 1990s, the endocannabinoid system is a complex cell signalling system found within the human body. Research suggests that the endocannabinoid system plays a part in regulating a wide range of physiological processes including mood, metabolism, sleep, stress, inflammation, nerve function and much more.
Cannabinoid based products such as CBD are thought to exert an effect on the endocannabinoid system which in turn provides users with an array of benefits. To learn more about the benefits of taking cannabinoid based products, head on over to the Cannubu blog.
