CBD Capsules are a convenient way to take CBD, as opposed to placing an oil under the tongue which many people find messy. There is no oily sensation in the mouth, and they are completely tasteless. It is also a little easier to dose CBD accurately using capsules as they are pre-filled with a certain amount of CBD.

Cannubu’s CBD capsules use the exact same ingredients as our high-quality CBD oils, plus the gel capsule, of course. Created using a full spectrum Cannabis Sativa L. extract (hemp), Cannubu’s CBD capsules contain a range of beneficial cannabinoids and terpenes alongside CBD.

What is CBD?

Cannabidiol, often abbreviated to ‘CBD’ is a naturally occurring compound found within the cannabis plant.

It belongs to a family of compounds known as the phytocannabinoids, of which hundreds have been identified to date. You are probably most familiar with the illicit phytocannabinoid tetrahydrocannabinol, often abbreviated to ‘THC’.

How is CBD Different to Cannabis?

CBD is not different to Cannabis, that is the wrong way to think about it.

CBD comes from cannabis and is one of the many components that make up cannabis in its totality. However, when consumed the effects of CBD are very different to the effects of recreational cannabis that you may be familiar with.

How is CBD Made?

CBD is manufactured by the cannabis plant itself; we simply extract it and use it as an ingredient.

To extract CBD from cannabis, you first harvest mature plants and dry them.

The CBD is then extracted from the dried plant material using solvents. Here at Cannubu we use CO2 as it produces clean & stable products every time.

Does CBD Get You High?

CBD will not get you high whatsoever. It is normal to have concerns though, seeing as CBD comes from cannabis.

In a recent report the World Health Organization stated, ‘there is no substantive evidence to suggest that CBD is likely to cause THC like psychoactive effects.’

What Does CBD Do?

When supplemented CBD interacts with and helps to regulate a system within the human body called the endocannabinoid system.

First discovered in the 1990’s, the endocannabinoid system is complex cell signalling system found within the central and peripheral nervous system.

Is CBD Safe?

CBD is exceptionally safe, even in very high doses.

In a recent report the World Health Organization stated “CBD is generally well tolerated with a good safety profile.

Any reported adverse effects may be as a result of interactions between CBD and medications”.
